His Excellency  Eric Odoi-Anim is a career Diplomat with over three decades experience in the Ghana Foreign Service; which he  joined  in 1987. 

He is a product of Swedru Secondary School and Winneba Secondary School. A lawyer by profession, Ambassador Odoi-Anim, holds the LL.B degree awarded in  1980 from University of Ghana, Legon, and was called to the Ghana Bar in 1982. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD). Additionally Ambassador Odoi-Anim holds a graduate Diploma in Diplomacy from the Fourah Bay College in Freetown, as well as a Diploma in the Law of the Sea and Ocean Management from the Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia , Canada (under the auspices of the International Ocean Institute).

His Excellency is also a recipient of a graduate certificate in International Law from The Hague Academy in the Netherlands. He also has other Diplomas from the Washington Institute of International Relations and the Academy of Social Sciences in Sofia, Bulgaria.

His Excellency has worked in various bureaux in the course of his career. He worked with the Audit and Inspectorate Bureau, the Multilateral Relations Bureau, the Legal and Consular Bureau and the Africa  & Regional Integration Bureau.
His Excellency Ambassador Odoi-Anim, served as the Director for the Legal and Consular Bureau, the Passport Office and the Human Resources and Administration Bureau.

He attended several Conferences and represented Ghana as Secretary during the Conference for the establishment of the International Criminal Court, and also the establishment of the International Seabed Authority.

Ambassador Odoi-Anim is presently Ghana’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe with concurrent accreditation to Mozambique and The Comoros.

He is an avid writer with several publications to his credit. He is also a keen sports enthusiast.
